Frequently asked questions
Is applying through Tamweeliq free?
Yes. Applying and advice are completely free, and we never ask for upfront fees.
Is Tamweeliq a lender?
No. Tamweeliq connects you with financing advisors who help you reach offers from lenders licensed by the Saudi Central Bank. Approval and contract signing happen directly with the lender.
What is the maximum salary deduction?
Under SAMA rules, consumer finance installments may not exceed 33.33% of an employee's net salary and 25% for retirees; total limits differ when a home loan exists.
What is the difference between the profit rate and APR?
The flat profit rate is applied to the original amount for the whole term, while the APR reflects the true cost including admin fees, so it is higher. Always compare offers by APR.
Can I get financing with SIMAH obligations?
It depends on the type and status of the obligation and your remaining deduction capacity. Some lenders offer debt buy-out solutions; your advisor will explain your options.
